the loader on this John Deere 650 compact 4WD diesel was built by Bill W. pictured here and his son Guy pictured below in Longview, WA.

they are using the on-board hydraulic system on the tractor and have upgraded the dimensions on the materials slightly since the compact 4WD can take more weight on the front end than the smaller garden tractors. the hydraulic components are the same for all tractors, 2" bore cylinders capable of lifting more than you might want to with this size tractor but it's good to know you have the capability if you need it.

here is Guy W. at his dad's place with the finished product. it lifted 1000lbs to the top during testing without a problem.
